چکیده مقاله
In the present investigation surface burner used in the condensing boilers was studied. Due to the compact structure condensing boilers, the surface burner is used. The surface burner decreasing the height of the flame, the flame does not impact the condensing boiler body. Hence, the identification of the combustion characteristics of flat flame burners is very important. For this reason, in this investigation, a cylindrical surface flat burner with a perforated shell was applied. In the first step, an experimental chamber was designed and made for testing a premixed flame. The manufactured combustion chamber enables to close the measuring tools, without damage. The burner was tested in six heating capacity of 11.74 kW to 17.14 kW, and the equivalence ratio of 0.44 to 1.6. The OH* radical as the main radical for heat release estimation and burner stability has been introduced. The main objective of this study is estimating the maximum heat released and flame stability in a cylindrical perforated burner
